NIAGARA FALLS BRIDGE COMMISSION ELECTS 2020 OFFICERS

LEWISTON, NEW YORK – The Niagara Falls Bridge Commission (NFBC), the bi-national entity that owns and operates the Rainbow, Whirlpool Rapids and Lewiston-Queenston Bridges between Canada and the United States, elected its 2020 slate of officers during the Commission’s Annual General Meeting. Michael J. Goodale of the Province of Ontario was elected Chairperson and Kathleen L. Neville of the State of New York was elected Vice-Chairperson. In addition, Charles McShane of the Province of Ontario was elected Secretary and Harry R. Palladino of the State of New York was elected Treasurer. Barton J. M. Maves of the Province of Ontario, and Francis A. Soda of the State of New York, comprise the other members of the NFBC Board.

Niagara Falls Bridge Commission Announces Temporary 35-Day Closure of Whirlpool Rapids Bridge and Niagara Falls, NY NEXUS Enrollment Centre to Accommodate Robert Moses Parkway Overpass Removal Project.
NEXUS-only span and Enrollment Centre will be temporarily taken out of service to ensure traveler and motorist safety; Lewiston-Queenston Bridge and Rainbow Bridge crossings will offer extended NEXUS lanes hours during outage period.

NIAGARA FALLS BRIDGE COMMISSION ELECTS 2019 OFFICERS

LEWISTON, NEW YORK – The Niagara Falls Bridge Commission (NFBC), the bi-national entity that owns and operates the Rainbow, Whirlpool Rapids and Lewiston-Queenston Bridges between Canada and the United States, elected its 2019 slate of officers during the Commission’s Annual General Meeting. Harry R. Palladino of the State of New York was elected Chairperson and Michael J. Goodale of the Province of Ontario was elected Vice-Chairperson. In addition, Kathleen L. Neville of the State of New York was elected Secretary and Linda L. McAusland of the Province of Ontario was elected Treasurer. Other New York State members include Russell G. Quarantello and Francis A. Soda.  On January 31, 2019, the Bridge Commission was pleased to welcome two appointees from the Province of Ontario, which include Barton Maves and Carmine McShane.  These eight members currently comprise the NFBC Board.

NO TOLLS AT AREA BRIDGES ON CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY

LEWISTON, NY – Today the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission (NFBC) announced that it will not charge tolls in celebration of the Christmas holiday.

The toll-free period will be in effect for 24 hours, beginning at 11:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24th and ending at 11:30 p.m. on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25th for the Lewiston-Queenston, Rainbow and Whirlpool bridge crossings

Niagara Falls Bridge Commission Hosts Formal Groundbreaking

LEWISTON, NY – Today the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission (NFBC) hosted various dignitaries for a groundbreaking event at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge’s U.S. Customs Plaza. This gathering was held to formally mark construction of a $90 million modernization project to enhance operational efficiency and functionality at one of the busiest ports of entry along the U.S.-Canada border.
